Toronto Pursuits Terms and Conditions

COST and PAYMENTS

A nonrefundable deposit of C$400 reserves your spot. The balance of payment is due June 1, 2025; we will contact you prior to processing your balance. Payments for Toronto Pursuits can be made by credit card, or by cheque in Canadian funds. Please make cheques out to Classical Pursuits. Please contact us to register by cheque; contact details are below. Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Verbal authorization for the use of your credit card for deposit confirms your reservation and indicates your compliance with our registration and cancellation policy for Toronto Pursuits.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Cancellations by you:

If you must cancel your registration, please notify Classical Pursuits immediately by calling 647-846-3422 / 1-844-378-2869 or emailing info@classicalpursuits.com. The C$400 deposit is nonrefundable. If you cancel your Toronto Pursuits registration prior to June 13, 2025, you will receive a refund for 80% of your order, minus the deposit. We will apply the remaining 20% (minus the deposit) to Toronto Pursuits in the next two calendar years. Cancellations made on or after June 13 forfeit the full payment.

Cancellations by Classical Pursuits: 

Classical Pursuits reserves the right to cancel Toronto Pursuits for any reason, including insufficient number of participants. If Toronto Pursuits 2025 is cancelled as a result of suspension of operations by Classical Pursuits, you will have the choice of:
  • a full refund of any monies paid for Toronto Pursuits 2025 registration
  • transfer of the full value of your payment to a future Toronto Pursuits program or Classical Pursuits online seminar
If you are travelling to Toronto Pursuits from outside the Toronto area, we strongly encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance that matches your level of risk tolerance. Classical Pursuits is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that you may incur as a result of your cancelling your registration or of Classical Pursuits cancelling the program. This includes expenses for nonrefundable flights, rail, or other transport; hotel or other accommodations; passports, visas, vaccinations, COVID tests or any other expense related to attending Toronto Pursuits. Please read carefully all terms and conditions of any travel-related purchases before you buy. We always encourage those travelling from outside Canada to also purchase travel health insurance. These costs are not included with your registration.

Other Costs:

  • All concert tickets and optional activities tickets/fees are nonrefundable and nonexchangeable. Classical Pursuits is not responsible for any changes to the Toronto Summer Music Festival concert program.
  • Unless otherwise stated, all costs associated with off-campus afternoon and evening excursions, such as transportation, museum admissions, and informal dinners, are not included in the program fee. Unless otherwise stated, these costs are nonrefundable.

SEMINAR CHANGES

We encourage you to read the seminar descriptions carefully to make sure the topic and amount of reading are a good match for you. We always happy to provide more information about a seminar or put you in contact with a seminar leader. You can always find all readings listed on each seminar page and get details on length using book ISBNs. You are free to change your seminar before July 1, 2025, provided there is space in the seminar you want to move to and you are able to complete any preparation required. There is no cost to change seminars. After July 1, we cannot accommodate any change in seminar. No refunds will be given should you wish to change seminars after July 1.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Classical Pursuits reserves the right to withdraw or refuse any service to any participant. No refunds or partial refunds will be given for participants who do not complete the program because of code of conduct violations. See the full Code of Conduct here.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

All services are organized by Classical Pursuits acting as agent for the owners, contractors and suppliers providing classroom and event space. Most recent update: February 4, 2025
