This is the fourth year that my husband, Bill Duggan, and I have been coming to Classical Pursuits. We wouldn’t miss coming back to enjoy the people we meet, and the opportunity to share in discussion of the books we have read. Ann always comes up with interesting, and sometimes controversial authors that stimulate discussion. I have taken a variety of seminars including Midnight in Sicily about the Italian mafia, The History of God by Karen Armstrong, and currently Thomas Mann’s Buddenbrooks. The people leading the discussion have encouraged participation by all attending, and I have learned from others in the group that are from diverse backgrounds as well as many parts of Canada and the US. I am looking forward to finding out what next years program will include.
